The September 2010 Daring Bakers’ challenge was hosted by Mandy of “What the Fruitcake?!” Mandy challenged everyone to make Decorated Sugar Cookies based on recipes from Peggy Porschen and The Joy of Baking.
Ok, so I know I haven't posted anything in over a year. Oh well.
I made sugar cookies with jasmine essence! I loved that the cookies were thick and soft, and the icing was bright blue and tasted sweet and flowery.
Decorating is not my thing. so tedious and my mouth never cares what food looks like. But I guess I have to learn and these were good practice. But mostly, they were just delicious. Great Challenge!!
